<div>Fish have settled into Winter pattern . &nbsp;Cold fronts arencycling down regularly now and north wind , high pressure and low tides can be challenging for a few&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>days after front hits. &nbsp;The good news is once the pressure eases back down and winds start to switch back around the fish pull op and eat. &nbsp;Usual spots p</div>

<div>Waded morning with topwater and plastics. &nbsp;Lots of undersized trout and a few rat reds. &nbsp;boxed 2 fish then drifted scattered shel and picked up a couple more legal trout . &nbsp; Pretty slow morning with full moon - fish eating at night. &nbsp;</div>

<div>waded with mirror lure black - silver one knocker then drifted with downsouth green- limetruse plastics, &nbsp;</div>

<div>Drift fished around oyster reefs with soft plastics and shrimp under popping cork. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Fish were in 3 foot water and tight to the windward side of reefs. &nbsp;Bait pushed up against reefs with strong south wind. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Out next front hotting Mon-Tue thos week should continue Fall pattern keeping water temp high 60s - low 70s.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

Southern Flounder

<div>Fished only for flounder Saturday. &nbsp;Found them laying up in shallow water at the mouth of bayous , drains and channels. &nbsp;</div><div>The front this week should get them going even better. &nbsp;Its time to box Flounder before the 'Flounder Shutdown' Nov 1 - Dec 15. &nbsp;</div>

<div>Anchor fished and waded with soft plastics close to tidal drains up against marsh shorelines. &nbsp;</div>

<div>Less than favorable conditions , full moon &nbsp;, cold front hitting the coast and northeast winds 15-20. &nbsp;Managed a few trout and a bonus big ugly black drum on light tackle ! &nbsp;</div><div>Now that we are getting to Fall fishing pattern , fishing will be very good between fronts . &nbsp;Everyrhing is turningn on with water temp dropping to the 70's. &nbsp;Book now for Oct-Nov Texas slam fishing!</div>

Big Ugly 

<div>The weather , wind direction and high barometric pressure &nbsp;have made trout fishing pretty slow . &nbsp;The good news is the temperature drop has kicked off Fall flounder migration and redfish run. &nbsp; Should be on that partern for the month of October and trout &nbsp;will start showing back up in between fronts . &nbsp; Great time of year !! &nbsp;</div>

<div>Above normal tide levels making for good fishing in the flooded marsh for redfish . &nbsp;The front and nottheast winds making conditions not as favorable for trout , but water temp now under 80 will turn fish on really good in usual spots as the winds lay and the cool front conditions settle down. &nbsp;</div><div>October is going to be good !! &nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div>Book now and get ready for great fall fishing !</div>

<div>Scouted Galveston West Bay. &nbsp;Stayed in the boat and covered marshy shorelines , scattered shell and oyster reefs . &nbsp; No redfish up in shallow mud - grass . &nbsp;Leeward side of oyster reefs and ledges holding a few trout . &nbsp;Reds reported in deeper water closer to ship channel.&nbsp;</div>

Drifted in 5 foot of water over scattered oyster shell. Water color improving as the southwest flow we had all summer turns more southeast . Bite has been later due to full moon.

Catching some solid 3-4 pound fish (22 - 24 inch ) mixed in with good numbers of 17 inch trout.
