We booked the 6 hour fishing trip with Captain Steve. The communication leading up to the trip was great. He reached out to us via text messages shortly after signing up on the website. We spoke the night before going fishing to discuss conditions and our expectations. The morning of the trip we received a text message that he was at the dock waiting our arrival. Everything was as we expected. The weather conditions were great and the boat and fishing tackle were in great condition. Captain Steve knew where all the good fishing spots were in West Galveston Bay. His boat has a 250 HP outboard engine which got us to the fishing spots PDQ. We caught a good number of fish, but the big ones somehow eluded us. It was still a great trip and we’ll definitely call Captain Steve the next time we book a fishing trip to Galveston Bay.

Wow! What a great fishing trip. Captain Steve is a fun and bubbly captain who casts rods, mends fishing lines (lol) and drives hook bait boats. Whether you catch something or not, he will definitely show you a good time. You will have a great time.

It was a choppy day but Steve was able to provide a nice, fun, and productive trip for us all. He was able to put us in different spots and he was determined to find where they were biting. I look forward to my next trip with Steve.

The waters were a bit rough during our trip but Captain Steve was still able to put us on some fish. His knowledge of the area and ability to make changes on the fly gave us the best chance to succeed. We will definitely book again! Highly recommend this guide.

Captain Steve was very clear on his instructions and great with kids. He put us on the fish and caught several big Redfish. I've been to different charters but this one is the best that I've joined so far. You can't go wrong with Captain Steve!

The Captain was able to give us a fast, fun ride to prime fishing locations. Redfish, trout, ladyfish, catfish, and black drum were caught! A+ on equipment and assistance as needed. He is an expert and knowledgeable Captain. Highly recommend Captain Steve’s fishing trips. We would love to go with him again.
